iiPrint Icing Sheet Printing

About iiPrint

iiPrint (Icing Images Print) is our free on-line printing feature that allows you to upload your images and print them without having to install and learn any image printing software.

Here are some of the features of iiPrint:

• Upload up to 5 images that can be printed on the same icing sheet.
• Print on any of our Premium Icing Sheets™.
• Print the entire image, or zoom in on a specific region.
• Select cut-out shapes, great for cupcakes and cookies.
• Add a picture frame and a mat.
• Add text in 30 fonts and any color.
• Rotate and position your image to fine-tune.

Other features to help you manage your prints include:

• Load and Save your templates. Recall commonly printed or difficult to assemble templates for printing or modifying at any time.
• Select the "full screen" view to allow maximum screen space for designing your templates.
• Adjust margins or circle sizes as needed for perfect printing.

Requirements for use

• iiPrint and iiDesigns are for Icing Images customers using only Premium Icing Sheets™ with any Canon Inkjet or Canon Multi-Function printer.
• You must have purchased any pack of Premium Icing Sheets™ or an Edible Printing System from us within the past two years.
• Use a fairly recent model computer with lots of memory and a fast, reliable internet connection (since there are many graphics to process).
• For iiPrint, you can upload .jpg, .png. or .gif files only. Other formats may or may not work - you can try at your own risk.
• Keep your uploaded images under 2 megabytes per image. Larger files will be rejected! If your image is too large, use an image editing tool to crop, resize, or compress your image first.

Browsers That Work

Your browser is not recommended

Currently iiPrint and iiDesigns requires Windows Internet Explorer 9 or higher, or Mozilla's Firefox for Windows. Since Internet Explorer 9 is only available on Windows 7 and ie10 on Windows 8, customers with Windows XP (or older) cannot download IE9, so you can instead download Firefox for free. Windows Vista may allow IE9 to be downloaded.

Javascript must be enabled. If the left menu buttons on our website "glow" (the entire button) when you move your mouse over them, you are ok. If not, search Google on how to enable javascript for your particular web browser. If javascript is not enabled, nothing will work when you click on the iPrint or iDesign controls.

Mac is not recommended for printing for these reasons: Setting the margins to zero or selecting borderless is ignored by Safari. Firefox on Mac does not offer the Print Preview, so there is no way to verify what is going to print. This is unfortunate since we really wanted to offer printing on the Mac.

Although many of the top browser companies put great effort into making their browsers pretty and cute and full of functions, they left the equivalent printing capabilities on the back burner. iiPrint and iiDesigns depend on the browser's ablity to print exactly as required. Such capabilities include setting margins to zero, hiding header/footers, printing rotated images, printing layered images without bleed-through, printing at the correct locations on the page, etc.

Icing Images tests every browser's printing capabilities completely. As they meet the requirements, they will be added to the list of usable browsers. If your browser does not meet the requirements, you will see a reminder each time you visit the iPrint or iDesigns printing page. The goal of course is to be sure printing works perfectly for your sanity and ours...
